Hirsch Thursday Oct. 24 7pm Studio on the Square $3
The Moon Competes! Hey Hey! "The Moon" has been accepted to Indie Memphis Film Festival in the general shorts competition, which is good, because that means I'm a Memphian who gets to compete amongst other filmmakers from across the country. I have had two shorts play at the festival previously, however they screened in the "hometowner" category. It's exciting to compete.
Hirsch Premieres! Also, once upon a time I wrote a short film called "Hirsch," that was shot and directed by my friends Patrick Churvis and Chad Barton. On October 24, it will premiere at the "Don't be Afraid of the Video Shorts Showcase" at Studio on the Square. The event will be hosted by Stanley Justice and tickets are $3. "Hirsch" will screen alongside shorts from people across the Memphis area. The story is science-fiction and centers on the life of a budding copy-cat artist. Stars Ron Gephart and Greg Boller. I have yet to see the final cut, so should be exciting for everyone.
