BY SHELBY BALDOCK
The reclusive manager of a cemetery finds love after resurrecting a man through a magical plant.
For years, Faye has hidden away from society by managing a cemetery on the foggy Northwestern coast, home to unidentified bodies washed ashore. With the county suddenly planning to repurpose the site, Faye is left in search of a new escape. When Zhang, a black market poacher, offers cash for the valuable succulents, nicknamed "live forevers," that blanket the cemetery, Faye believes she's found her way out. But, the succulents hold a secret. One day, a stranger arrives covered in dirt with no memory. Faye names him Mo, and as the two grow closer in a search for his lost past, she begins to discover the truth: Mo has been resurrected through the live forevers. As Zhang grows suspicious of Faye and the authorities close in on their operation, Faye must confront everything she's been hiding from in order to protect both the man she now loves and the key to eternal life.
